You've gotta love a fresh, tasty and fruity ice-block on a boiling summer day! But those store bough icy poles are packed full of preservatives, artificial flavouring and colouring? Well not to worry, I've got you covered with these tasty and quick strawberry ice-blocks!
Ingredients: Makes 4 (depending on size of ice-block moulds)
- 1 1/4 cups of water
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 10 strawberries
How to:
1. Boil 1 cup of water and 1/2 cup of sugar in saucepan stir repeatedly until sugar is dissolved.
2. Once sugar is dissolved pour sugar mixture into a small bowl and leave to cool in fridge.
3. Blend 10 strawberries and 1/4 cup of water in blender until no chunks remain then add sugar mixture and blend till combined.
4. Pour final mixture into ice-block moulds. (Pro tip- If theres any left over mixture pour into regular ice-block moulds).
5. Freeze for at least 4 and 1/2 hours. Once frozen remove from ice-block moulds and....
