Welcome foodies, this is my favourite before surf breakfast and the perfect on the go breakfast. Bircher Muesli or overnight muesli is easily made the night before a busy morning, personalised to your taste buds with as many or as little toppings as preferred. Then quickly thrown together and enjoyed on a busy morning, insuring you get a nutritious breakfast, because don't forget it's the most important meal of the day!
Ingredients for Bircher Muesli:
- 1 cup of Greek Yogurt
- 1/4 cup of Oats
- 1 tbsp of Honey
Topping Ideas:
- Pear
- Apple
- Strawberries
- Chia Seeds
- Sultanas
- Almonds
- Shredded Coconut
-Passionfruit
How to:
1. Combine Greek Yogurt, Oats and Honey in a food container.
2. Cut up Pear, Apple and Strawberries squeeze some lemon or lime juice on top of the fruit in order to prevent browning. Then put fruit into a food container.
3. Place your chosen amount of Chia Seeds, Sultanas, Almonds and Shredded Coconut in a food container.
4. Put the passionfruit and containers containing fruit and yogurt into the fridge overnight. Then place the container containing dry toppings in the cupboard or leave on bench.
5. In the morning grab a spoon, place all your chosen toppings on top of the bircher muesli and...
